Ms. Bannon Waterman is uniquely suited to her role as Lead, Research and Analytics. She brings a diverse set of skills and expertise, ranging from comprehensive data analysis, rigorous topical and prospect research, through to the development of strategic plans for support services that align with overall campaign objectives. Drawing on her distinct skill set, Ms. Bannon Waterman is developing new and innovative research methodologies and services for KCI’s Research & Analytics department.

Bringing expertise in the full spectrum of research and analytics techniques, Celeste customizes solutions and translates complex data to help clients focus their resources, understand their unique constituency base, and identify potential new donors. Since joining KCI Celeste has worked with many organizations across Canada, including SickKids Foundation, BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, QEII Health Sciences Centre Foundation, Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation, Trillium Health Partners Foundation, Lakehead University, University of Manitoba, Saint Mary’s University, St. Lawrence College, Mohawk College, Conestoga College, Canadian Red Cross, Canadian Lung Association, Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of Canada, Shaw Festival, and the Vancouver Aquarium on data analytics and research related projects.

Prior to joining KCI, Ms. Bannon Waterman began her career as an information systems specialist, eventually bringing her expertise in data management to support advancement at the University of Guelph. During her time there she was instrumental in the design and programming of the University’s custom-built alumni information management enterprise database system. She held progressively senior positions, taking on management of functions including prospect management and research, gift receipting and financial services, records management, human resources support, communications support and event management. Her career at the University of Guelph culminated in her role as Executive Director, Advancement Services where she lead the integration of three formerly autonomous departments into one cohesive unit, responsible for providing all support functions within the Alumni Affairs & Development Department.

Throughout her career, Celeste has brought her strength in data management, research and analysis to bear to help inform decisions and strategic plans that increased efficiency, improved service delivery and aligned supporting operations with overall strategic objectives.

Ms. Bannon Waterman holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Guelph and a Certificate in University and College Administration from the CHERD Center at the University of Manitoba.
